On Wednesday morning last, the TY bank team travelled to the RDS in Dublin to take part in the National Finals of the AIB Build a Bank Challenge. The Boys were on stage at 10.30 and gave a really good presentation of their bank “Bank to the Future”. There were 120 schools taking part from all over the country, so it was a long wait until 3.30pm to see if they had made it to the last eight. The standard was really high this year and unfortunately they didn’t make it this time. Well done to Eoghan Matthews, Oscar Gilligan Cillian Lawlor, Adam Kennedy, William Conroy, Ryan Moran, Euan Mulligan and Dylan Keane. A huge thank you must also go to the AIB Student Officer, Olivia Guest who worked tirelessly with the boys in preparing them for the competition.
