Changes to Board of Management

Ronnie Culliton has decided to stand down as Chairman of the Board of Management after an immense contribution and will be replaced by Kevin Keegan.

Departure of Chairman of Board of Management

The current Chairman Mr Ronnie Culliton is leaving his position after making an immense contribution to Cistercian College Roscrea. Throughout his tenure, he has been central in so many aspects; securing support, assisting school leadership, engaging with parents, current and prospective and maintaining links with past pupils.

We are particularly thankful to his family for their support and forbearance over the past four and a half years. Cistercian College will always be very grateful to the Culliton family for the long association and commitment shown over many years.

Appointment of new Chairman of Board of Management

We are very fortunate that Mr Kevin Keegan (class of 1988) has accepted our invitation to replace Ronnie as Chairman with immediate effect. He brings a wealth of professional and board experience to the role. He is currently Partner at Boyden, a global leadership and talent advisory firm, and heads their Irish operation. This experience has proved extremely beneficial to the College as Kevin recently worked very closely with Ronnie and Inez Heenan to recruit both Gavin Clark and Felix Ross to their respective roles as College President and Head of Boarding.

A qualified occupational psychologist and a certified bank director, Kevin has held senior HR executive roles in major companies in Europe, Asia and the Americas including Kerry Group, Greencore, Ulster Bank and Treasury Holdings. In addition to his professional experience, Kevin is also former Chairman and Director of the Make-A-Wish foundation in Ireland and has also served as a Director of the Simon Community.
