South Leinster Athletics – Day 2: (Senior 4x100M Squad set South Leinster Championship Relay RECORD)
The CCR Senior, Intermediate and U-16 boys took Waterford by storm today, including a record breaking performance from our Senior 4×100 Relay team. Diarmuid Kilgallen, Ben Murphy, Darragh Loughnane, Lucas Culliton and Adam Dunne broke the South Leinster record while powering through the field to win the 4×100 Relay.
There were also accomplished performances from Lorcan Mullen who again raised the bar winning the Intermediate 3000M (one year underage!!). Sean Frawley added to his impressive haul by bringing home 2 medals winning his Hammer and coming third in the Shot. Adam Dunne claimed an impressive bronze the 100M sprint final.
Well done to all who travelled to represent the College.
